Q) Does your Motorhome require a special licence to drive?
A) No, our motorhome is below 3500kg and can be driven using a normal licence.
Q) Is your Motorhome easy to drive?
A) Easier than the majority of people think, the structural frame of thr motorhome is based on a Fiat transit van so the wheelbase is relatively small, the bodywork is slightly wider but our motorhome has power assisted steering, wide angle mirrors and cruise control which all help with manoeuvrability.
Q) Is the Motorhome facilities difficult to understand?
A) We ask all customers to arrive at least an hour before their holiday so we can familiarise them with all aspects of the vehicle, such as the gas, water, heating and electrics. It’s a simple procedure so you needn’t worry!
Q) How old is your Motorhome?
A) Purchased September 2009. Registration AE59ELH
Q) What time can we depart? What time must we arrive back ?
A) The pick up time is 1pm until 4pm (later by arrangement) the return time is by 11.30am on the final day of your hire (you are not charged for the return day) The motorhome should be returned on time for the next customer, (a charge of £250 is made if the Motorhome is returned late)

A) We are based in Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Northumberland. NE646NY
Q) Is there parking available for our car once we pickup the Motorhome?
A) Yes, their is free, 24hr secured parking for our customers vehicles. (1 car per hire)
Q) What MPG does the Motorhome achieve and which type of fuel do they use?
A) The motorhome does around 30-35 miles to the gallon dependant on your driving style and run on diesel.
Q) How do we secure the dates we want & pay for the hire?
A) Once you have finalised your hire dates, you are required to pay a non-refundable booking deposit of £250 for weekly hires and £150 for weekend hires. Payment is by cheque. The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to your hire date.
Q) Do you have a minimum hire period?
A) Yes and No. Yes, in peak season 7 days or longer. High, mid or low season bookings can be booked from 3 nights.
Q) Can we add an additional driver/s to the insurance for the hire period?
A) Yes but a small nominal fee is payable. We will confirm this once we receive details of the extra driver/s. It is usually £7pppd extra.
Q) I have 6 points of more on my license, can I still drive the motorhome?
A) Yes, but an additional charge will be payable to our insurers. We will inform you if this is the case.
Q) I am 25 or under, can I still drive the motorhome?
A) Yes but an additional charge will apply.
Q) What is the vehicle insurance excess?
A) The motorhome has comprehensive insurance, but if there is any damage or an accident the first £1000 is payable by the customer, if the motorhome is returned undamaged, clean and the toilet emptied then the £500 security insurance bond is refunded.
Q) Is a refundable security bond required?
A) Yes, a fully refundable £500 security bond is payable on the day of departure. This acts as security against any damage which may occur whilst using our motorhome.
Q) Do you offer an airport pick up service?
A) Yes for a nominal charge, dependant on which aiport. Please ask.
Q) Are pets allowed?
A) No
Q) Is smoking allowed
A) No sorry (but you are only a step away from the outdoors!).
Q) Is the motorhome right or left hand drive?
A) Right hand drive.
Q) Is your Motorhome automatic or manual?
A) Our motorhome is manual.
Q) What are the dimensions of the motorhome?
A) Length 6.00m, Width 2.0m, Height 2.75m, Max Weight 3500kg.
